Prima Yachts was founded in 1986 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, by Mr.Philip Wang after generations of boat-building craftsmanship. Since then, Prima has focused on its own brand promotion and persistent pursuit for building top quality motor yachts. With boats sold to Sweden, Italy, U.S.A, Australia, Japan and Hong Kong, we established well-earned good reputation among discerning buyers and a solid foundation for future expansion.

In 1992, Prima pioneered in the industry to move the whole facilities to its current address, Shenzhen, China, to enhance production capacity and long term development. The new location covers 140,000 square meters of land with a beautiful beach and a well-facilitated launching slip. Every yacht built here goes through multiple sea trials to ensure the best performance on mechanical systems, electrical systems and propulsion system with the perfect match of propellers to boat load.

Our popular models include Pama 54' and 62' Pilothouse line, which was started in 2002. It features fresh styling, spacious accommodation and quickly became the top seller. In 2004, it set a record of selling three 62's in five months for the Seattle region. Following that success, a new line of Pama Bay way taking the lead. It was envisioned by Japanese designer with North Europe features. In this category, Pama Bay 26',35' and 38' models were well accepted in Japan, a market known for great emphasis in high quality and performance. Currently, Prima has a Motor Yacht line from 51' to 90' under construction and will soon make its debut at boat shows.

Among our best boats, the Prima 88' P/H is surely a perfect example for customization and customer satisfaction. It was a one-off construction based on buyer's plans and specification and to follow ABYC, ABS and USCG rules. In addition, there is a special request for weight control and targeted boat speed of 19-20 knots. Even though it is difficult to keep the weight to minimum for one-off production method for a boat this size, she tops 19.3 knots and all the fiber glass laminations passed several professional inspections. Backed up by the most advanced navigation electronics and best machinery and systems, she made her maiden voyage from Hong Kong to Seattle, U.S.A in June, 2006, with only four persons onboard. This flagship boat proved that Prima is highly capable of meeting customer demands with top quality.

Besides the ABYC and USCG standards, our boats are also CE approved by RINA (of Italy), and attained certificate on NK in Japan and 2C/1E certificate by Waterways in Australia, this highlights our quality and performance level and quarantees all-round service of all our boats.

Among our various models, we name the emerging new models as Pama series and all the pervious models, custom projects and the Trawler models as Prima series. However, should you choose to purchase a Prima or Pama, you are making a smart decision and deserve a top quality dream boat the Prima Yachts is known for.
